Team Gould completed Trailwalker 2012 in 25 hours and 38 minutes. Unfortunately Linz had to pull out at checkpoint 7 but the rest of us pushed on into the darkness, rain and fog and we reached the finish line at 07.38 on Sunday morning. The recent rain meant much of the route was difficult to negotiate due to mud and early reports appear to indicate that up to 35% of those who started pulled out. Special thanks to Dave and Andy for their fantastic support over the weekend; they barely had a moment to rest between checkpoints and we couldn't have done this without them.
